Implemented accessibility measures
To meet the legal requirements of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the underlying standards (WCAG 2.1, conformance level AA), the following technical and design measures have been implemented on this website:
Visual contrast & readability: All text colors, background contrasts, and control elements (e.g., buttons and form fields) have been adjusted to meet WCAG-compliant contrast ratios to ensure optimal readability for people with visual impairments.
Keyboard accessibility & navigation: By using semantic HTML5 code via the Webflow system (such as native <button>, <nav>, and <input> elements), the website can be navigated logically using a keyboard (via the Tab key). Focus states clearly indicate at all times which element is currently selected.
Alternative text (alt text): All visual content, graphics, and logos are provided with descriptive alternative text. This allows text-to-speech functions and screen readers to correctly convey image content to visually impaired users. Purely decorative elements have been hidden from screen readers.
Structure & screen reader support (ARIA): The website uses a clean, hierarchical heading structure. Native Webflow components automatically provide the appropriate HTML5 landmarks (<header>, <main>, <footer>) as well as the necessary ARIA attributes, ensuring that assistive technologies can read the page structure without errors.
Accessible form design: Input fields within our online services feature clear labels and easy-to-understand system messages in the event of incorrect entries.
